As millions of Texas children return to school this month, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) reminds motorists and parents to take precautions to prevent traffic crashes and injuries in school zones and around school buses.

TxDOT’s Be Safe. Drive Smart. Public Awareness and Education Campaign offers timely back-to-school tips for both drivers and students to help keep schoolchildren safe.  Back to School Safety Tips
